  • Mount and Dembele sign as Bradwell eyes Ben Yedder

With mid season fast approaching and the first half of the season being one Bradwell and Celtic will both want to forget, mid season is around the corner and Bradwell has decided to make one last effort into giving the Celtic fans something to at least shout about, 2 big moves have come in the attacking department, Rasmus Hojlund has been sent packing as well as inexperienced winger Nicolo Zaniolo, with Mason Mount and Ousmane Dembele arriving, Bradwell said after last nights DBC exit "Rasmus hasn’t hit the ground like we wanted, its partly that he’s probably not played his preferred role as much as he would like either, I completely sympathise with that, Nicolo is just collateral damage, we have wanted Ousmane back for a while, he’s a player that’s always done well for us he’s flying again this season at Fiorentina and that sort of quality could really help us out going into this second half of the season, Mason is a player we signed in the bonanza but he was moved on to Man Utd straight away, he’s found himself at Fiorentina and again a player that will tie the lines brilliantly, he’s not had the best of seasons but I feel he needs the right environment, I don’t think he was the main man in the midfield at United, but I think he will slot alongside Anguissa quite well and create the chances needed for us to score more goals”

The speculation however didn’t end there, its been a known fact that Wissam Ben Yedder has been unhappy in the Italian capital all season, even though the Frenchman was handed the armband at the start of the season, hes found his opportunities limited since the arrival of Kylian Mbappe via the off season auction, obviously Ben Yedder being one of the most dangerous strikers in world football is not going to be happy warming the bench in a period where he will feel he needs to play games to extend his prime years, an option that has emerged is that Celtic could offer him a way out, Salah is heading off at mid season in a swap deal that was agreed weeks ago, which frees up the captains armband and it’s a possibility that Bradwell could use the armband to entice the French legend to aide Celtic in there quest for a strong second half of the season.
