Sponsor Pot
How sponsor payouts work
- Each league holds a sponsor pot.
- Prem and EFL1: £500,000,000 each.
- Champ and EFL2: £300,000,000 each.
- Money pays out based on performance versus Expected Position.
Expected position
- Calculated before the season.
- Uses weighted historic performance plus wage ranking.
- Lower score equals higher expectation.
Weights
- Last season finish: 100 percent.
- Season minus two: 50 percent.
- Season minus three: 25 percent.
- Wage ranking: 100 percent.
- Wage ranking locked the day before season start.
