JADON SLORY, Dutch Winger signs for United

MANCHESTER UNITED HAVE CONFIRMED THEIR SCOUTS HAVE SECURED THE SERVICES OF DUTCH WINGER JADON SLORY. THE PLAYER BECOMES THE FIRST 19 YEAR OLD TO JOIN THE CLUB IN FFO 2 AND BYPASSES THE CURRENT ACADEMY SET UP TO JOIN THE FIRST TEAM. SLORY IS ONE OF EUROPES HOTTEST PROSPECTS AND UNITED ARE EXTATIC TO SIGN THE FORMER FEYENOORD GRADUATE.

Slory has signed an initial 1 year deal at Old Trafford and fills the void left from the departing Anthony Elanga with the club putting big amounts of hope and faith in the Dutchman. Rumours are already circulating the Dutchman will have to play a minimum of 15 games this season or his deal will be terminated with supports wondering where he will fit given the plethora of midfielders already at the club.

It's obvious, any young player needs time to develop and nurture but Slory is believed to be one of the next big things in FFO, and may end up being thrown in at the deep end as the club may look to maximise his game time, as the current regulations won't allow 19 year olds to secure loan deals or even be sold, meaning the tight contract signed need to be honoured or there is a chance of a players like Slory becoming free agents after 1 season.

Steve Outten kept level headed when quizzed around the proposal but did say Slory has the world at his feet.

"Jadon is a very talented young man and he's at the right club for giving opportunities to young players. We know his potential that's a cert and if he works hard and maintains his discipline he could become one of the best around but that's down to him. He has a great group of players around him to learn from and he will need to be patient at times despite the lucrative deal he signed. I have very high expectations and hope he lives up to his potential."

"We have to mange the situation very carefully, we don't want to lose him, but we also have to win football matches as a club and there are certainly some games he's not quite ready for."

Outten did express his disgust at the loan exiles on the new recruits and feels it could hinder some careers.

"We know we can't give Jadon 90 minutes a week, but we'd love to have sent him on loan to get game time for a period. It's a bit daft that Jadon, and some of the other youth recruits may just sit and rot in some clubs because of this restriction. It is what it is, and we'll all just get on with it, but this could be very detrimental on a whole host of young players in my opinion."
