Off the back of Bradwell speaking earlier about his teams lack of firepower, Celtic have probably made their best signing so far this season by bringing in talented Danish youngster Rasmus Hojlund from Bayern Munich, Willie Gnonto was supposed to be signing on for Celtic, but Bradwell saw it as an opportunity to see if he could use the Italian to try and persuade Bayern in letting their young superstar leave Munich, although Rasmus has seen all minutes available so far this season, has seen his stock lessen in Bavaria since the arrival of Benjamin Sesko and Bradwell saw this as an opportunity to pin his hopes on bringing in a top quality Scandinavian since the last one that wore the green and white hoops turned out pretty well for Celtic, he is also handed the same number as Henrik Larsson donned for years at Parkhead as Celtics new number 7 since the shirt was made vacant by the departure of Heung Min Son last week, this adds more fuel to the fire of Salah leaving at mid season as Rasmus will have wanted certain clarifications about being Celtics long term main man before signing.
Marcus Edwards has also signed on in a 30 million deal this week and is expected to mostly provide cover to the new frontline of Hojlund, Jackson and Salah, but with their being a possibility that Salah might not be here in the second half of the season Edwards could be called upon sooner rather than later to play his part.
