  • Ansu Fati Set For Arsenal Departure To End Speculation

    Breaking news today from Arsenal is that a deal has been agreed for the sale of in demand Ansu Fati.

    Throughout pre season, it was widely expected that the front man would be joining Juventus and despite a public fallout between the two clubs which at one point saw the deal collapse, a new deal was agreed and for weeks looked set to be the case until the club posted a deal with the buyer being PSG and not Juventus.

    Now its been very much in the public between both clubs with a war of words seen and heard by many regarding both Managers making digs at each of their transfer antics but despite that, Arsenal still agreed to honour the deal which was agreed on the public forum. After the collapse of the FFO social media, Arsenal were reported to have reached out to make sure that the deal was still going ahead and after a few messages, it was claimed that Juventus tried reducing the price that they had agreed which prompted Arsenal to walk away from the deal.

    Hours after Juventus have released ' a version ' of what they think happened, the Arsenal boss was on hand to speak to reporters ;

    " Look, this is crazy really. Firstly, I apologise to my fellow managers for having to read pages and pages of back and fourth between us and Juventus, hardly good for the game but once a dog gets hold of bone they don't let go which seems to be the case of that club.

    Any reports of lots of messages regarding us asking if the deal was going ahead every week are laughable. After the discord fallout, we left them alone until a couple of days ago when we did touch base to ask and if so, get the deal posted which is then when they tried to get the fee reduced from what they offered and do what they did which sparked the fallout in the first place. When we rejected that and said " Forget the deal ", we did walk away because we were going around in circles. It was only then that a new deal was offered to us by three clubs and a day or so later we agreed the sale. Certainly nothing under hand as they claim, and they were fully aware the deal was off because we informed them via message, it wasn't a case of them finding out once a deal for Ansu Fati was posted, that is very much false on their part, in fact, wasn't it Juventus who released news regarding them pulling out on a deal earlier in pre season with out having the decency of letting the other club involved know their intentions yet now accusing us of that, simply laughable. Ever since we saw them do that we had reservations that they would honour the deal which is why we didn't rely on the money arriving in the deal and we were right to be sceptical.

    Everyone will have their own view and own way to conduct business and we pride ourselves with the deals we do and with the Managers we deal with. We're not entirely sure what our league campaign and going from first to fourth and missing out on a title by one point has to do with the player leaving, I think you'll find their season fell apart long before ours did but its easy for someone to throw accusations out at people that apply to themselves yet try and turn the table round as i they don't.

    We don't wish them any harm, things like this happen in football, in fact we are just glad that the deal has been done and wish them all the very best in their division next season ".

    Banks bites back

    After both Juventus and then Arsenal released statements regarding the Ansu Fati deal, we caught the reaction of Juventus manager Andy Banks to comments made by Arsenal manager Darren Humphries:

    ’Half a dozen times at the manager’s conference (discord) did we tell Humphries that once the deal had been sent to the FA to be checked over, we would countersign the deal but days passed with the transfer window being open and no deal was proposed to the FA.

    Then the messages return from Arsenal and once again we spent a long time back and forth reminding them that they had to make the first move and we’d follow suit and how things were left were that we had agreed a price, of course I tried to get a little discount as I could smell the desperation, but we were happy to honour the original deal but it was never sent to the FA and Arsenal went on to do business with PSG instead.

    As the Arsenal manager concluded, the saga is over and we’ll move on.
    Thank you.”
