Red Bull Salzburg Press Secretary Gudruna Kukuruz announce today that RBS is contemplating a second stadium expansion to be completed before next season. “We are currently in talks with the City of Salzburg to add another 10,000 seats to our grounds. Our successful campaign for the FLT Cup has allowed this to occur.” said Kukuruz. Salzburg increased their stadium 10,000 seats for this season and pretty much sold out all home games. Gaffer Dave Thacker has said repeatedly that the key to improving the squad is to improve revenues. At this point Salzburg’s balance sheet looks healthy, but there are expected to be many demands on on the treasury before next season. The final determination is expected to be made about round 36.
