Wissam Ben Yedder Named Celtic Captain Again After Stellar Season
GLASGOW, May 29, 2024 ᅳ Celtic Football Club has the pleasure to announce that their top star forward, Wissam Ben Yedder, will continue as the team's captain for the second season in a row. This decision follows an amazing season, where Ben Yedder scored an incredible account of 28 goals, really contributing to Celtic's successful end of the season.
Last season, Ben Yedder's goals were key in leading Celtic to improve their final position on the table by the end of the season. His ability to score very important goals and lead Celtic to victory played a key factor in Celtic's obtaining a few wins and climbing on the table since his arrival.
