Welcome to Ewood wouldn’t he… home of Blackburn Rovers news. Season 4 is almost here and we would like to thank you for joining us on this journey as we set out in our next quest in the premier league under new management with Tony Ayre at the helm. We also venture into Europe during what is setup to be a very exciting season for Rovers fans across the FFO universe. Blackburn Rovers would like to extend their heartfelt thanks for former manager Ryan Field and wish him the best of luck with his future endeavours.

Blackburn wasted no time in replacing the outgoing manager after they agreed to pay the release clause in his contract and brought in former Liverpool and Fiorentina manager Tony Ayre from Valencia. Ayre has signed a 3-year contract with a possible 1 year extension pending performances and will pocket a mere fuck all every week for his services to the club. Ayre was quoted as saying on joining the club, “It was an opportunity that came at me fast and was 50/50 in the debate of joining but once I knew the opportunity at gaining 12 automatic points from beating Liverpool and Barnsley, it was too good of an opportunity to turn down”.
Ayre is known for his previous records against the former Barcelona manager with Mr Edwards more often than not falling short against Mr Ayre and at the other end of the table we have Barnsley and their new manager Mr Harris… and we all know what happened to that cry baby when Valenica knocked his side out of the cup last season, “going up against some friendly faces” was the reason behind Ayre’s more back to Lancashire and Rovers are excited to have someone with his pedigree at the helm.
