RB Salzburg signs Scottish Forward Pasnik.
Red Bull Salzburg yesterday announced the signing of 19-year old Tyler Pasnik for a 2 year contract. Pasnik grew up playing in the Rangers FC academy. He joined the club’s U18 squad in 2021 and has ben playing with the Rangers B quad this season, with 7 appearances. He also spent some time at the United States U19 training camp.
RBS was known be looking for some additional scoring punch and they attempted to improve last seasons finish in the seller. It’s not known what impact the signing will be on Nuss and Fernando, who both were backups the duo Koita and Nene. Fernando has been especially vocal about his lack of playing time. Fernando is thought to be at a critical point in his career, and this does not bode well for him breaking into a starting role.
Manager Dave Thacker was happy about the signing, only his second since he took over last season. “Tyler has learned a lot during his time in Scottish football, and we are looking forward to putting him into our gained plan.” Former Scot C_McGregor was happy for Pasnik. “You can tell from the way he moves that he is going to put spark in RBS. Glad he’s here”
