    An unmatched legacy

The King of Rome bowed out at the end of season 3, having built an empire, created an unparalleled legacy to which no manager can ever match. Having won all there is to win, the Roma board renamed their VIP area as ‘Derek Hughes Suite’ which is also undergoing renovation to become the most prestigious box in all of world football, which will also no doubt charge a very heft premium for entry.

    The future is now

The Chairman of the Roma board along with the Director of Football have entered into the Roma press conference box, with a piece of paper and glasses in their hands

Roma Chairman: “We haven’t had a chance to say farewell to Derek yet, but he will always be part of the club and be welcomed with open arms in each and every game day.. who knows, maybe someday as a manager of the greatest club in all of football. The King of Rome has now passed the torch to a manager with a point to prove. We believe it is in the best interest of the club to go a different direction, for which we needed time to discuss and implement before we made any public announcement.”

Roma DoF: “Derek had an old school vision, his philosophy matched with the older generation of players who took his every word as gospel and fought on the field as gladiators. We want a younger generation of gladiators, who can hold their own in the colosseum. But for that, we needed a younger commander, one with fire in his belly and hope in his heart. We have poached Hamza from Liverpool, who has a good reputation for rebuilding a side, as seen with Liverpool and has won the DPT as well. He has yet to properly manage in the UCL with his own side, but this time we hope he can do well in his first attempt.”

Hamza walks into the Roma press conference room, with a red suit and dark yellow tie, befitting the Roman crest.

Hamza: “buon giorno to all.. *laughs* my Italian is really not upto the mark at the moment, maybe it will be someday. Already taking lessons but the instructor says I am too lazy.”

The journalists in the room burst into laughter for a solid two minutes before Hamza gestures to calm down.

Hamza: “Now that we have broken the ice, I am sure you all know the news surrounding our latest transfer dealings and facilities upgrades. Lets go one by one shall we?”

    Transfers

Hamza: “A bulk of the senior players have departed the club in recent times, with young prospects such as Kalulu, Raspadori, Tonali and a major one in the form of NDicka joining, however we had to let Mbappe go as we had to rebuild the side with younger additions.”

    Facilities

Hamza: “The stadium will now be a 65,000 seater masterpiece, we not only have improved the seating but also the dining facilities have been revamped too. I have also introduced some food items which I love a lot which you would too.. Chicken Tikka and the second being Shawarma, can’t go wrong with those.”

Hamza: “We have also revamped our academy, a coach by the name of Azmah will also join the club today to work on the youth side as we have one of the best academies in all of world football. Along with that we will be moving our academy set up to the newly built ‘Fantastico Gioventù’ in the coming weeks. On top of all of that we have hired additional scouts to search for the next best talent from all over the world. E_Diop was an addition not very long ago who can have an influence on the side from the start but a young hot prospect in the form of a defender is also on the cards”

Hamza: “These developments are only just the start, we hope to challenge for the league in the current season, although it will be tough we want to be close to the top of the tree. We have also a tough group in the Champions League which we want to break out off and put a good showing in the cup. It’s maybe too early to dream but we could aim to at least one piece of silverware in the first two seasons.”
    “Forza Roma!!”
