Have the tub boys improved? Glad you asked, in fact following are stats regarding just that, player improvements after 14 weeks.
We start with players who advanced in primary skill:
24 year old midfielder S_Szymanskic gaining 1 at PS and advancing to 17. An aggressive midfielder in the prime of career.
22 year old attacking midfielder Q_Timber gaining 1 at PS and advancing to 18. A footballing prodigy, with many years ahead of him. Looking forward to seeing the rookie hone his skills.
23 year old midfielder E_Elmas gaining 1 at PS and advancing to 17. A reliable and well disciplined halfback, solidifying the midfield.
22 year old defender J_Bagan gaining 1 at TK and advancing to 18. A newly arrived rookie defender that has brought much needed depth to the back-line.
23 year old defender M_Pederson gaining 1 at TK and advancing to 18. Along with being voted team captain by his peers, the defender has provided a great deal of stability at the back, in fact, the duo of D_Hancko and M_Pederson have been dubbed “THE DOOR BOLT” by pundits.
Some positive results are staring to show at fullback and halfback. And not a moment to soon as the tub boys are in serious need of a morale boost.
Secondary skill advancement:
28 year old defensive midfielder E_Gutierrez gaining 1 at SH and advancing to 10. A veteran midfielder with an abundance of experience, his cool and unquivering demeanour on the pitch in times of crisis has no doubt provided much needed guidance for youngsters in the club.
27 year old striker O_Idrissi gaining 1 at PS and advancing to 14. The natural born striker has no doubt been the difference between winning and losing, his goal scoring prowess has earned him the nickname by club mates as the “THE HITMAN”.
Honorable mention goes to:
26 year old defender J_Rasmussen who is on the verge of gaining 1 at TK and advancing to 17. Another player who is in the prime of his career and who’s style of play of late is starting to turn heads, the late bloomer has been playing regularly in the starting eleven and is without doubt a welcomed addition.
