I want to address the recent criticism going around about Bayer Leverkusen becoming the Oprah Winfrey of FFO.

I get it, we have had a horrid start to the campaign. After playing well in the preseason and securing 4 points from our first 2 games, we have essentially fallen off a cliff. The poor form in the league is bad enough but falling to Nice in the EFL cup was certainly disappointing, credit to them for out playing us. Perhaps the early performance led to higher expectations. I want to remind everyone we are only seven games into the season with a long way to go. While we did not expect to compete for the title in year one of this project but we also did not expect to be in the relegation zone at this point.
We will continue to implement our system and culture as well as ways to improve and refresh our group.
