RB Salzburg Weekly Tuesday press conference.
Thacker: Welcome to our first weekly press conference. First, couple of announcements. RBS has engaged First Striker Support Services for cloud decision support. I feel it’s absolutely necessary that RBS move into the digital age. We’ll be using FSSS to analyze the reams of data that is produced from tactics and operations. The FSSS liaison will be Ms. Dot Matrix. Second, we are in the process of adding O_Djuco to the squad. He should be available to pre-season activities. Now to your questions.
Penny Foryerthoughts: Going into this season, who do you see your biggest rival are in the league?
Thacker: I haven’t thought about it much. I just want every single point that we can get through this season. At the end of the season, I’m sure will have some clubs that we can point to as rivals.
Bitter Formerstar: Are you worried about you age causing a problem with the young players in the Salzburg?
Thacker: Not a bit. They want hardware, I want hardware. They want glory and treasure, I want glory and treasure. This is not an effing (can I say that?) retirement gig for me! We’re out to win and get promoted. You can through all the psychobabble out the window. I ask all of my players, young or experienced, to make every match count. In turn, I’ll give them the the training, the tools, and the support make them dominant on the pitch.
Reggie Egginface: The expectation of is that you’ll be lucky to stay in mid-table this year. Any comment?
Thacker: This club wants more. We’ll get there. If we encounter setbacks, we’ll change our tactics and press on.
Annie Agitator: Are you happy with with squad you have inherited? Do you feel any changes will be made?
Thacker: Every player and every manager know that Club management always wants their squad to improve. It’s get better or get out. I’m committed to make any change necessary to improve RBS. Transfers will happen. Part of the game.
That’s all for this week. There may be additional personnel announcements before the press conference.
