Salzburg appointed Dave Thacker today as manager after a number of disastrous interims. Thacker has previously managed at the old EFL and SNIFL. Fans are desperately hoping that the old codger still has some tricks up his sleeve. "It's great to be back in the game", Thacker announced, "Remember Old Age and Treachery beats Youth and Agility every time." Club insiders are not impressed with the appointment and have sarcastically started to call Thacker "The Aged Strategist".
