The Liverpool boss has signed a new contract with Liverpool FC, amid interest in joining Sporting Lisbon as their new manager, but due to circumstances beyond the control of the manager that was never going to happen. In the new contract it is stated that if Liverpool conclude any of the following seasons in the top 6, an exit clause will be activated and the manager would be free to walk at any point, having or not having a club. The manager will give a more detailed statement on 1st December 2023, which in the inner circles of Liverpool is said to be very explosive.
