Sheffield United will open Premiership campaign tomorrow with a radically changed roster. Four academy players have joined the squad, and few transfers have been added, and a young striker has been loaned to the Blades for the season. Interim manager Dave Thacker has sent signals that the youngsters will immediately be put to the test. āIām constantly being asked if Sheffield United will be able to stay up this season. I make no promises, but we are not tanking. We will be working through a lot of formations and tactics and we our goal is to clear the drop zone.
