It’s been a pretty good SHN sale for the Blades. We’ve manage to work ourselves out of our the retirement jam, pick up a couple of useful players, and sell a squaddie.
New Guys: We brought in 23 year old G_Aurelio as backup DF. He will plug any holes created by suspensions and injuries. This let us sell off G_Zakjov for a nice bit of change. The squaddie market in insane, and we rode the wave. F_Palladino come over from Bayern’s academy. We pocketed the 5 mil and Palladino is going to get as many minutes as possible. We also picked up a 26 year old Midfielder during SHN. D_Saric will backup the midfielders. Overall we have made the minimum roster size and have reduced the average age of the squad by two years.
I was tempted to purchase another SHN, but I think the club needs to conserve cash for next EOS. Hopefully I won’t be running the club and there will be some options for the new manager. I picked out 36 year old keeper as Captain to we can get him a 24 skill. No one in the Premiership has less than a 24, so that was an easy choice to make.
I’ve now got a few weeks to run some simulation games and figure out how to steal points every now and then. Burnley was p17 last season and had 38 points so there’s our goal. Whether or not I and do that with these youngsters, remains to be seen. Caretaker out!
