Salzburg increases scouting for next season

Red Bull Salzburg announced today their intention to add a second coach to their Academy staff. Wateh Fooker, the Director of player development discussed the decision with our reporter. “The board has been carefully monitoring transfer activity throughout the FFO.” he explained. “The minimum bids for the spot auctions has constantly been above our level of cash. The most economically way to bring new players is to add two players to the academy every season”. We asked Fooker if this means Salzburg has abandoned the transfer market. “Absolutely now! We are constantly managing the wires and have one or two needs that we would like address, if the finances will support it after paying for our infrastructure updates.”
