Manager Drew Hill had wanted to see a strong start from his side on the first day of the FFO season, but instead he watched on as his side went behind in the first minute.
Ajax defender Sosa nodded home a cross from the right wing for the worst possible start for the Breton visitors.

Hill switched to an attacking strategy to try and get his troops back into the game, and was rewarded with a goal back before half time from Enzo Le Fee.

That set the stage for Gouiri's late free kick equaliser which brought passionate celebrations from players and fans alike and despite only earning a point it felt like a massive goal for the French side.
Speaking after the match, Rennes manager Drew Hill praised the character of his side.
"That was a point we really had to fight for" he said.
"It wasn't the best start, certainly defensively we took some time to settle.
"When you let yourself get behind in an away game in a big stadium like this you really have a mountain to climb.
"We have to be pleased with coming back from that. We can work on the defence and improve but the strength of character we showed will be vital later in the season".
Rennes will take the good feeling from their late goal with the as they head back to France via a stop in Marseille for the FFO EFL Cup first round tie this evening.
