FIORENTINA FANZONE
The fans are getting psyched for the club's biggest match of the season, hoping for a European night to remember.
The game is the DBC semi-final second leg away at West Ham, who currently sit third in the Premiership.
The first leg was an exciting affair, with Fiorentina leading two nil and dreaming of glory at half-time, however West Ham came out of their shell, and Zaha got a couple of goals to end the game 2-2.
The match is well poised then, though West Ham are strong favourites to progress at home against the EF2 side.
Both sides are coming into the game in good form, with Fiorentina winning three nil on Monday, and West Ham winning six nil away to Wolves.
So just how will Fiorentina set up to win the game?
1 - Play it tight for penalties? Given the strength of West Ham's firepower, with Zaha 23 and Toney 21 up front, and three very good attacking midfielders it would be a risky strategy, but possibly the only one that might see a surprise overall win.
2 - Try to outplay the Hammers? West Ham are stronger in all areas, so not sure how this one would work! Though the Hammers have been playing it light at the back, so maybe there is a formation that would be effective against that.
3 - Attack!! Umm, well optimistic is an understatement, but maybe if West Ham play E a sneaky breakaway goal might happen, but it also opens up the door to all the Hammers attacking talent.
4 - Kick them! It may be an aggressive approach would knock the Hammers out of their stride, in a throwback to Wimbledon of old, but have Fiorentina got the kickers to do it? possibly not. Also it risks giving away penalties and having men sent off.
Whatever the outcome, it's been a good cup run for the side, who could then focus on the league in the remaining nine games of the season.
