Round 15 saw the clash of the season so far for some as Juventus hosted PSG for the first time since the managers of said teams had a very public falling out.
Clarke, obviously, at fault once again pushed Banks too far and the outspoken manager of Juventus leaked sensitive materials from conversations with Clarke in which the PSG manager said multiple negative remarks about fellow managers.
Gary Wilson & Tim Davey were two of many who copped for the wrath of Clarke, only behind their backs however!
Onto the game, PSG sat top of the league after 14 games, the only unbeaten team in the 4 league structure and Juventus came into the game off the back of an embarrassing 4-2 defeat at the hands of struggling Bayer Leverkusen.
Only 1 winner right? Well Banks had his team well drilled as they looked to stay compact and frustrate the usually free scoring PSG squad.
Juventus lined up with 5 defenders and 2 defensive midfielders while PSG set out in a similar formation with 5 defenders but just the 1 defensive midfielder.
No pre game handshake between the managers was caught on TV but perhaps in the tunnel?
The game was underway and it was the host who took early charge of the game, playing without fear and after 24 minutes, that style of play got it's rewards as F_Wirtz scored his 8th of the season to give Juventus the lead.
More of the same until half time as Juventus looked like the team sitting at the top of the league. The half time whistle blew and after a great first half performance, Juventus took a 1-0 lead into the break. Surely Clarke would rally his players and have a better second half?
NOPE.
Banks sent his men back out for the second half and they handled anything and everything that the visitors threw at them, keeping them at bay and for once off the score sheet.
In the 75th minute, a defining moment occurred as 12 rated J_Pelupessy entered the fray, 2 minute later he'd doubled the hosts' lead to sent the home fans into raptures.
A 3rd followed by D_Kulusevski with just 5 minutes to play and Juventus had romped PSG, taken all 3 points, and sent them on their way.
A huge win for Juventus as they look to chase down the teams above them, a disastrous result for PSG who have seen both AS Roma & Real Madrid close the gap on them at the top of the league to just 1 point.
Where did it all go wrong for PSG? Has Banks just outclassed Clarke?
We spoke to Juventus manager Andy Banks as he got on the team bus departing the stadium:
"It's a big win for us, as is any. A lot fear this PSG team but we've beaten them at least once for the last at least 3 seasons...During a time where they've meant to be the mutt's nuts...Little old Juventus has come along and beaten them.
This time however, we've whooped them. And it tastes good.
We had a clear plan, be hard to beat. It seems however that our visitors had no idea what to do when they fell behind and I'm afraid that reflects poorly on their so called tactical genius of a manager.
He's the furthest thing from a tactical anything, he's built a very good team...The best in the game...Perhaps the best the game has ever seen but much like others at the top of the game...He has nothing else to back it up.
If a Porsche has a race with a Fiat Panda....The Porsche SHOULD win, but if the Porsche is being driven by Stevie Wonder and the Fiat Panda is being driven by Lewis Hamilton then a similar result to today might happen.
All we'd heard all season so far is about this PSG unbeaten record in the league, as if 14 games is something special...Well it isn't and they're not. Plus, it's over now!
Clarke avoided me before the game and has slithered away straight onto the team bus after we played the off the park. That just shows the kind of man that we're dealing with here.
We now shift our focus to Inter Milan and the EFL Cup Quarter Final, where I'm certain Clarke's girlfriend Gary Wilson will be eager to get revenge for his master."

We now leave you with a soundbite from the Juventus commentary team after tonight's full time whistle:
'David Beckham, Ronaldinho, David Luiz, Youri Djorkaeff, Lauren Robert, Kevin Gameiro, Yannick Guillochon, Pascal Zaremba, Jay-Jay Okocha, Hugo Leal, Abdou Diallo....YOUR BOYS TOOK A HELL OF A BEATING!'
