Juventus manager Andy Banks and Leeds United manager Tim Davey spent the better part of last season at each others' throats both in the media and in public forums.
After comments and name calling coming from both sides and threats of physical violence from Davey, it was the Leeds United manager who was left with egg on his face as he crashed out of Europe before resigning from his post at the Premier League club.
Davey was talked back into his role at the club by officials and he then went on to lead Leeds to the Premier League title against all odds.
Since 'The argument' very little has been said between the two but with the 2 teams' Round 3 clash in the group stage of the Champions League just days away, it seems that some of Banks' words may have hit a little deeper than anyone could have imagined.
Banks dubbed the United boss 'Baldy' on many occasions, to which Davey claimed he was bold by choice, something that very few believed however it seems that Davey was indeed correct after recent social media posts have seen him growing his hair and has now taken to posting a poll to decide what he should do next.
The current options are:
Ebrace the grey/silver and keep growing 25%
Super smooth baldy 13%
Mini Mowhawk 2%
Top knot 60%
Some claim that Davey is only growing his hair due to the comments that were made by Banks, others claim that the two are totally unrelated.
Here's what Banks had to say on the upcoming game and the poll:
"What can I say, it's a huge decision. The right decision must be made here.
Our round 3 game is huge in the group so a positive result is key, but Leeds are a good team with a manager who knows how to win so it'll be tough no matter what.
We did start out well but the defeat to Bayern hurt us so we need to bounce back. I haven't looked into Leeds' league form as that's totally irrelevant but we know we'll have to be at our very best in order to beat them.
We lost to them home & away last season on our way to DPT glory, some say it was the highlight of the Leeds manager's season.
As for the hair style poll, it's unclear if he's looking to change his hairstyle due to comments that I made, it's possible as he did seem to fly off the handle.
I haven't cast my vote yet and I doubt that I will, but having seen Mr Davey with some of the hair styles, I'm not sure that there's a good option although the current one does look like all that's missing are the words
'Have you seen this man?'
