My First game in online football in 10+ years apart from the preseason comp.

First test of the season and I was trying to remember what tactics are haha.

This game was the start of the league campaign. The game finished one all
We had to travel for this match, an away trip to play against RB Salzburg.
We took the lead on 59 minutes with a goal from T_Bradshaw who was booked later in the game
RB Salzburg levelled it up in the 69 minute with a goal from C_McGregor
We had 43% possession and the game finished in a score draw. First point in FFO for me.

We got our first win of the season, one nil win but with a dodgy penalty scored by French forward M_Dembele

So three points in the bag, A little bit lucky but well take that.

Today we were on the road again, Playing away to Sevilla in the league.
They look like a good team and probably one of the top teams in this league.
The score was two - one as we lost our first game in the league.

In the first half sevilla's W_Jose scored on 36 minutes to go one up. In the second half Sevilla doubled there lead with
a goal from Y_En_Nesyri on 65 minutes.
Schalke got one back in the 83 minute with a nice finish from B_Lasme.
This was nothing more the a consolation as the match finished two - one
G_Honeyman was booked for Schalke on the 73 minute mark.
Schalke had 36% possession and had 12 attempts on goal with 8 hitting the target.
Unlucky not to get more out of the game and a draw would have been good result against this strong Sevilla team.

Today we were on the road again, Playing away to Lyon in league game five. A not so boring nil all draw today.
We only got one point from this game as our shaky start to the season continues.
Schalke deserved more from this game and will be angry with officials after this result.

Lyon forward A_Lacazette had a goal disallowed on the 9 minute mark when it was flagged for offside.
On 57 minutes Schake had a goal controversially disallowed, A lovely ball in by T_Baumgartl and Z_Flemming
hits a crisp volley, But the referee disallowed it, not really sure why and straight away the Schalke players surrounded the referee,
but he didn't change his mind. Schalke were robbed players and fans are still very angry with this.

The match finished in a one nil loss to Union Berlin, Another bad day at the office for Schalke.
The game started badly for Schalke when they lost defender T_Baumgartl trough injury in the 23 minute

Schalke never look like getting back in to this game, strikers hit the target but not really troubling the Union Berlin keeper.

A big loss for Schalke today, this match finished two one, Schalke went ahead and then fell apart.
