    Premiership Round Thirty Four - Blackburn Rovers 0 - 0 Arsenal

    A trip to Ewood Park was next up for Arsenal with The Gunners looking to try and finish the season as high as possible and get some breathing space between the teams below them but a return back to North London with a point following a nil nil draw was the and result.

    In truth, the result was about as fair as it could be with neither side really worthy of the win, it coming down to poor finishing and good games by each sides defence but a point away from home can be looked at as a decent result none the less.

    The Arsenal boss gave his view on the game after the final whistle ;

    " Given the number of goals we have score this season and chances we have created I did expect more from our attacking plyers but Rovers really mad it hard for us to get into our way of play and kept us out as we did at the other end which really made for an average game and a point each. With West Ham dropping points it was an ideal chance to gain a bit of space but it wasnt to be this round ".

      Premiership Round Thirty Five - Arsenal 0 - 0 Southampton

      Back at The Emirates and looking to get not only back onto the winning trail but to get back in on the goals but it was the same exact result as the previous round with yet another nil nil draw this time against Southampton.

      Absolutely no doubt about it, Arsenal will look back on the game as two points dropped, they were by far the better of the two sides but a stubborn back six for The Saints kept The Gunners out for the second game in a row. How much this result will affect the clubs position come the end of the season remains to be seen as the Gunners boss said afterwards ;

      " We did everything apart from score today. One of those games where we could still be playing now. Facing a back six in theory is what we did and we have managed to break them don before, we certainly have the players to do so but today it wasn't to be once again and following the Blackburn game, two points and no goals is something that does cause or concern, specially going in to the North London derby in the next round ".

        Premiership Round Thirty Six - Tottenham Hotspur 1 - 2 Arsenal

        One of the biggest games in the season or both Spurs and Arsenal, the North London derby was next in round thirty six and going into the game on the back of two nil nil draws, Spurs were looking to take the bragging rights from this but Arsenal got back to their best with the win over their rivals.

        Goals from Schlotrbeck and Captain Chiesa turned the game around after Arsenal went one down and a solid display at the back ensured that it was to be Arsenals day in North London. With West Ham dropping points at Man City, the win sees Arsenal move back into third place and three points clear of West Ham in fourth.

        A happy Gunners boss had this to say ;

        " A massive game in our season and to get the win in their own back yard is just the tonic for us after two poor results. Just a few games left and our aim is third place which we have managed to get ourselves in a great position for so its in our hands now and we cant allow any slip ups ".

          Premiership Round Thirty Seven - Arsenal 3 - 3 Wolves

          The end of the season is now upon Arsenal and they have a third place finish in their hands, just games against Wolves and Manchester United in the final game stand in their way. With Wolves in the relegation zone, many expected it to be an easy day the office for the Gunners but that wasn't the way the story went with Wolves leading 3-1 at half time. A score that was very much against the run of play once again with Arsenal being by far the better of the two sides but they just could take advantage of a struggling Wolves side that even had one of their best players out for the game. All the Gunners goals coming from the midfield, Pedri, Kulusevski and Thuram but the Manager, was far from happy with the outcome that had they got the result thy deserved, would have cemented third place ;

          " We have to look back at that and just wonder how we have not won that one. Fifteen shots on target and score three, they have five and score three but on the whole, we were by far the better of the two sides but once again didn't manage to get the result we deserved which sees to have been the case lately. A massive last game of the season awaits us now against Manchester United who need to win and hope Man City drop points to win the title where as we need the points now to confirm third place so certainly one of the games in the last round ".
