    Inter Milan 1-2 Bayern Munich

A tough test for my first game in charge of the Bavarian giants. Not many teams will take maximum points from John at home this season. We edged the stats, and can thank a stellar performance from Wharton (2 assists) that led us to a solid away victory. Goals from Gnoto and Lukeba were enough to see us over the line.

All the best John, good game!

    Bayern Munich 1-0 Sporting Lisbon

Harris' debut at home for his new side, the fans packed out the stadium to take on Sporting Lisbon who are quietly going about their business, having defeated the world's best team, PSG in round one, Munich knew they were in for a tough game. Xavi Simons scored the opener by crossing to himself and finishing it delightfully with a diving header. You had to be there to see it! It was 1-0 at half time, and we continued edging the stats but unfortunately couldn't get a second. However, we settle for 1-0 and a great three points.

Managing minute expectations across our backline and back up youth forward will be huge challenges this season so knowing when to use these players will become crucial.

Good game Jason, all the best.

    208 words Jan.

    Roma 2-3 Bayern Munich

A tough ask away to Roma, no matter the manager, their squad is still very talented and slightly stronger than ours. It was a real back and forth with the German side continuing their strong start to the season thanks to goals by: Simons, Gnonto and Sesko.

A brave move to leave new record signing Nico Paz on the bench but he came on and contributed well. We try to give fringe players a few minutes which is going to be a challenge.

Good game Hamza all the best for the season.
