Tears Before Bedtime Tonight For Hopton As Windebank Schools Him Again!!!!!

    RB Leipzig 3
    Wolfsburg 0

Not the proud peacock he was at Portman Road Hopton rapidly walked to the dugout with his head down. The look on his face was a mixture of intrigue and apprehension as he hoped his main team would put on a better performance than his caretaker team, after all surely his team will at least score with 24 rated Vinicius Jr up front?

The game was even with Junior looking nervous in front of goal until the 15th minute when loanee Jack Wilshere pushed the ball past a Wolfsburg defender before lobbing a static Kepa to give Leipzig the lead.

Luka Jović left Junior for dead in the 31st minute before unleashing a pile driver to give Leipzig a deserved 2-0 lead.

The game was over eight minutes later as Leipzig grew wings and the other loanee Farnerud thread the ball through to Luka who got his 2nd of the game and Leipzig third.

Leipzig shut up shop and the game ended exactly the same as the other fixture between the two managers.

Hopton shuffled down the touchline with his head down a glistering red and hands in his pockets as the chant of "it happened again, it happened again, Hopton got stuffed 3-0, it's happened again"

    Windebank said

ha ha ha that was comedy gold just over 24 hours ago Jason was telling the FFO world that he compiled his tactics and team sheet in bed and told me that "was easy for me, both your teams are so shite I just went double A"

So today's results I find taste even better than normal when my sides win. Let's not get it twisted both my sides smashed the fanny out of Hopton's and maybe for his next games he might want to do his sheets over a bowl of cornflakes.

One thing is for sure Jason might have trouble sleeping tonight with my sides haunting his dreams.

Leipzig Scrape Through On Penalties Against Third Tier Opposition

FC Kobenhaven 1 Leipzig 1 - Leipzig win on Penalties

Leipzig are in the hat for the 2nd round draw despite struggling against Kobenhaven of EFL 3.

Things looked rosy when Alvarez score his first goal for the Club from the penalty spot in the 18th minute.

Leipzig created a good few chances but could not grab that all important second goal and Leipzig fans were not surprised when a sucker punch saw Kobenhaven score in the 66th minute through Cornelius to make the score 1-1.

Leipzig huffed and puffed but could not score again but thankfully won 5-4 on penalties to progress to round 2 and get another valuable £2.5m of gate receipts.

These type of games go 2 ways either a dominate win or if your lucky you scrape through rather than getting knocked out.

Thankfully we scraped through and I am well chuffed with that.

We hope for a home draw in the 2nd round and hopefully a little crack at GS super side Borussia Dortmund.
