What was so special about the player and did they do anything that led your team to FFO glory? I beat Mati to signing him along with a few others, he was the best FW in the game and really pushed us on to great things. A treble, multiple league titles in a row scoring 30 a season+

I can't actually remember who we signed him from... it was in season 3 of FFO 1. I remember we got him in a swap deal for Obafemi Martins.
Prolific and got us a top five position in La Liga when there were some quality teams going for it.

He was a double rated player, a 9-10 Defensive Middy and was the stand out star player for my League One team. I recall there was about 4 or 5 other teams in for him as well but Iceman the Villa manager sold him to me, I think he felt sorry for Yeovil Town lol. This would have been back in season 2 or 3. The player helped us on our journey to the Premier League

Paul Pogba from the auction in my first pre season with Leeds. I inherited a god awful side.
I took a punt on him and got lucky, his stats were way in advance of any of my team and obviously really young. It was to be the trigger for a successful rebuild.

Currently the only outfield 24 rater in the game and only 23yo.
Instrumental in 2 titles in 3 seasons scoring 100 goals in 2 seasons of ffo2 (58 in S1, 42 in S2)
I would argue he is the best player in FFO2

He scored like 40+ goals for me, was the top scorer accross FFO and led Ajax to league and cup glory in ROE2

Oldham Athletic season 2, helped lockdown League One title was 15 rated going on 16 which was good enough to start on half the prem teams at the time.

No recollection of who I got him from or for how much, which is odd because I have a notepad file with info on pretty much every transfer I made for Oldham that year lol. All I know is that 37 next to the age stat helped.

Glory, what glory!! We don't do glory hereabouts. Clinging on and incremental improvements is our bag! Anyway, this lad had been part of the Bradford City/Preston North End/Wolves setup since eos Season 20 until earlier this last season which saw him move to pastures new at Feyenoord. Although these days he's better known as Melendo. The team itself has always struggled but this lad has regularly been there or thereabouts at the top of the passing and assists charts for whichever division we've played in. He was a very sad loss and maybe one day we'll get the chance to bring him back.

Inter Milan ? (Not sure I can hardly remember yesterday)

Again no idea lol

nope, minds blank, it was very very cheap for a player who was still very good but obviously marred with injury’s in real life back in the day that if a player retired in real life he did in FFO, I remember taking chance as I suspected he would try and play on like he did for a number of years and well that’s what happened and we got a great player for an absolute steal.

What was the fee? Around £100m I believe
What was so special about the player and did they do anything that led your team to FFO glory? One of the first big signings of my time, and an added bit of youth in the midfield. A very good young all rounder at the time and he's the only player to have been part of all the honours I've won at United. Despite being messed around with teams pulling out on loans I thought sod it and threw him in at the deep end. People say his seconds and thirds are not good enough since the halfing, but always seems a good player for goals, notches plenty of passes. It's a shame after 14 seasons he now departs but certainly worth the long term investment, even if the name never lived up to the real life hype.
