EFL 2 managers had a feast or famine strategy for their academy enrollments. Nearly a third of on total enrollments can be found in just four clubs. The “betting on youth” strategy is hotly debated by FFO managers, but these four clubs think that the academy is their ticket out of the second division. Six clubs pulled their enrollments down to the minimum 4 players. This could be by design or because of some neglect on non-managed clubs. Because those clubs drew their enrollment down to the minimum, there are only 10 players that will age up to 21 for next season.
