With four games to go West Ham United are in a Premier League fight for their life. With a maximum finish of 14th it is highly unlikely the East London Club will achieve this as they are 11 points behind 14th and 15th place.
West Ham United qualified for the Champions League last season but they are 3 points behind 16th place and above 17th and 18th place on goal difference. The 4 point gap to bottom of the table should mean they finish above 20th place but with all the relegated Clubs receiving £7m prize money the East London giants could be in a bit of Financial trouble next season.
The maximum prize money of £10m will be applied in the forecast.

    Current Balance: £5,405,000
    League Gate Receipts: £8,100,000

    League Prize Money: £10,000,000
    CL Gate Money: £0
    CL Prize Money: £0
    FA Cup Prize Money: £0
    Objective Money: £7,500,000

    Media: £0
    Wages: (£19,650,000)
    Stadium Upgrade 10k: (£12,000,000)

Academy Upgrade (Scout and Coach): (£0)
    Total Maximum Funds: (£645,000)

The finances look bleak in East London due to a very unusual season following last season heroics. West Ham are full of talent and Todd Fortune may have to work his magic in the close season to raise cash or not had any more seats to the Stadium.

West Ham should be too good to go down and the financial woes will probably be of more concern, thankfully there is quality all over the West Ham squad and they have a great manager who knows the Club and game inside out.
A Club that their fans like to say won the 1966 World Cup will probably not have the funds to invest in their Academy as any funds raised will no doubt be diverted elsewhere.

In maybe the most shocking outcome of the season so far Simon Hill’s Burnley find themselves in 16th place 8 points behind both 14th and 15th place. Burnley are a team with a rich history and it is unknown the last time this giant Club failed to qualify for the Champions League. A massive win tonight see them pull 3 points clear of 17th to 19th and Simon will be hoping they can win their remaining four games and put this unusual season behind him.
The maximum prize money of £11m will be applied in the forecast.

      Current Balance: £37,230,000
      League Gate Receipts: £8,100,000

      League Prize Money: £11,000,000

Academy Upgrade (Scout and Coach): (£20,000,000)
      Total Maximum Funds: £18,680,000

Burnley are a well run Club and despite having an unusually catastrophic season Simon Hill is likely to add another 5k seats to the stadium and purchase another coach so he can maximise the 30 weeks training of Burnley’s academy. With great age across the squad I think Simon will put this down as one of those seasons and potentially raise funds to direct recruitment elsewhere by selling Paul Pogba.

Surely to good to go down Burnley will be fully expected to bounce back in style next season.

Managerless Everton are in the thick of the relegation battle sitting in 18th place due to a 5 goal worse goal difference to West Ham United. Everton have been a mainstay of the Premier League and usually finish mid table but with a weaker squad than Burnley ad West Ham United they could be plying their trade in the Championship next season. Mathematically they could still reach 14th but that is highly unlikely.
The maximum prize money of £11m will be applied in the forecast.

Everton fans will be hoping that David Gooch can pull off the great escape and send either Burnley or West Ham United down. If they do go down they will be a massive Championship Club and I expect the Toffees to increase their stadium by another £5k. Will they be bold enough to sell one or two stars to finance their Academy? It could be one bonus of relegation if that scenario transpires.

Watford the last of last seasons promoted Clubs still have a chance of grabbing the £25m stay up bonus. Locked on the same points as Everton and West Ham United they will be hoping to outperform their relegation rivals over the final 4 games.
The maximum prize money of £11m will be applied in the forecast and the £25m staying up bonus.

Watford manager Lauris Silins will be in dreamland if he can outperform Everton and West Ham United to retain Watford’s Premier League status. If they are able to achieve this I expect Watford to add another 10k seats to their Stadium as well as purchasing their second Coach.

If they do fall through the Premier League trap door I would still expect them to push on with the infrastructure costs as they lose no players end of season and can promote two players from their academy.
It would be a true fairytale story if Watford are able to stay up.

The Owls are rooted to the bottom of the Premier League and after flirting with relegation last season it seems highly likely they will be plying their trade in the Championship next season. They are only 4 points behind the three teams locked on 29 points but the Owls would have to win all their remaining four games to realistically stay up.
The maximum prize money of £8m will be applied in the forecast.

The Owls looked doomed but with caretaker manager Simon Marsh at the helm it would not surprise me that a rebuild will take place if the Owls are relegated. Simon knows how to build quality sides and if he remain in charge expect sweeping changes at Hillsborough including an increase in Stadium Capacity and potentially investment into the Owls Academy.

Like the other four Clubs involved in the relegation battle if the Owls do go down despite their limited current resources the Owls fans would be expecting their side to win promotion at the first attempt.
