London's Calling Talbot - Chelsea's Blue Army Gains a New Leader
London calling to the faraway towns—they just didn't think it would be Madrid!
Talbot was always a maverick, a cocksure fighter pilot type of character if ever there was one in the world of football management.
But Steven K. Talbot sent shockwaves through FFO when it was suddenly announced that the famed hotseat of Real Madrid was now vacant. The shock resignation came after a season in which Los Blancos had dominated the EFL1 league to win the title and championship for the 6th time under Talbot, by a wide margin of 8 points and over 30 goals difference.
What would his next steps be?
Farewell, and retirement?
A return to his hometown where he is loved and a chance to live a quiet life with Blackburn Rovers was rumoured by many.
The Master of the Air, Steve K. Talbot, though, had other ideas.
Oh oh oh. Chelsea, Chelsea, Chelsea, Chelsea. We're gonna make this a blue day.
London's Calling!
Talbot was appointed the new manager of Chelsea in the Prem, informing us all that he still had much to prove on the English side of the game. The recently vacated West London club's dugout was the ideal landing place. The last 3 seasons for Chelsea have seen them finish 7th, 7th, and 5th, so while they have been steady and consistent, there are still improvements that Talbot has seen that can be made to push them higher up the league and acually compete with the likes of Manchester City, Mancheser United, Arsenal, Leeds and co, and he is the man to make London blue again.
Once a giant of a club in the early days of FFO, they have fallen on hard times and have been stagnant for a long time. Now they have a new dynamic leader, a proven winner — could the club's fortunes be about to change?
War has been declared in the Prem, and a battle is about to come down.
Talbot calling to the rest of the Prem.
Come out of the cupboard, you quiet boys and girls.
Talbot will not allow the rest of you Prem beta boy managers to rest easy.
Talbot is coming, the sun's zooming in...
