With shots to goal conceded covered it is time to turn attention to the other end of the table. How many shots it takes to score a goal. The statistics are more normal with a smaller range of 5.73 to 13.17 but this is still wide for those those unfortunate to be near the bottom end.
Atletico Madrid manager Simon Marsh commented "When you see yourself second bottom of the defence stats you would hope you are second top of the opposite. We find ourselves unsurprisingly bottom needing over 13 shots to score a goal. The ESMS gods have never been as angry with me as they are this season. I cant recall a period like this in over 20 years of football management".
