Yesterday sources within Juventus posted a media article claiming what they saw as a weakness for each of last season's top 6 teams from the Premier League and EFL 1.
This seems to have ruffled some feathers in Paris & Milan as managers of PSG & Inter Milan directed their anger and hurt feelings towards Juventus manager Andy Banks making claims about the media, such as:
Laughable
Bitter
Lazy
Copy and paste
Petty
Hurt our feelings
We caught up with Banks to ask him on the article and the backlash it's received:
"Well, what can I say….I didn't write or publish it, but it has some really good points.
It's obvious that the pair, as adults, can't take criticism and it's pathetic.
Claims have been made that the article got under their skin and from their rants as a result of the media, I'd say that's about right.
I'm sure it would be a great article to them had the club published a list stating how good the two managers are, however that isn't the case so would never be said.
Clarke picked up on one line from the article, that he's only been successful since having the best team in the world. He claims that there's no link to this but anyone with a brain can see 2 league titles in 3 seasons once he had the best team, and ZERO before this. Someone seems to be in denial.
Clarke seems hell bent on getting people's approval of his ability and when it doesn't come, he throws his toys out of the pram like a child.
As for Gary Wilson, he hides behind his fake progression and now he seems to hide behind best friend Simon Clarke.
He'll never be near the title race again and seems to like being the underdog so fair play to him.
To sum up:
Clarke- Arrogant, desperately in need of praise and reassurance, much like a teenage girl.
Gary Wilson- No longer a factor at the top end of the league and has fallen to being Clarke's bitch."
