  • Bayern Boss struggling in Transfer Market?

There has been a lot of talk coming out of Bavaria recently suggesting that new Bayern Munich boss - Ant Harris, is either struggling or thriving in the current transfer market. Most outlets are reporting it is more of a struggle. Having mostly managed clubs where he would need to pester and initiate to get a deal done, Harris finds himself in a rather unique position - being at a club with at least a few players of interest to many. There have been talks recently involving star midfielder Xavi Simons and unnamed club, with Harris rebuffing any kind of sale. Then there was intense speculation over goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen, as well as, Adam Wharton. Clubs have tested the waters for some defenders, and no one has come to try take the star forwards away yet. Most clubs are realising the players are mostly 22 or older now and don't receive he re-rates that made them so attractive a year ago. Harris has buckled down so far claiming he doesn't need to make changes yet. Whilst, brave and loyal to he current squad, some are starting to question if he has what it takes to strengthen the side. He could go older and better, but what for? Short term gain? Juventus and PSG are also incredibly young. The gain Bayern may gain in the short term, will be seriously lost over the long term due to age. A tough predicament for the new boss who is currently loving the beer halls, traditional lederhosen and alps that make this part of the world very special.

Away from the bids that have come in, it is rumoured that Bellegarde has found a new club after the former Barnsley man was briefly reunited with Harris for pre-season training it seems the club will be moving him on to a rumoured return to England, in the Championship. It is speculated that a former German World Cup winner will be coming to Munich.

Paulista returns from loan at Sporting Lisbon and looks set to be the backup defender, or a possible last minute transfer.

Youth sensation Capdevilla will be promoted and subsequently loaned out to Stockport County, despite strong interest across the continent. Harris may call up two other youth players to cover all bases as Wissa is also rumoured to be off to England in a permanent transfer.

Let's see what this window brings next week, as a flurry of deals from around the leagues is expected, and Bayern will surely weigh up where their investment goes...into stadium and youth, or into the Auction.

Bayern Munich Boss - Harris is still struggling to make an impact in the transfer market. He has however decided to promote three young superstars, including Capdevilla who as previously mentioned has been confirmed to be off to Stockport City to hopefully help them make the Premier Division.

Young forwards Palladino and King are set to make the shock callups to first team football too, with Palladino tipped to join a fellow European side on loan.

Fans are unsure if Harris should be spending 10million on two loans, but for now they are willing to be patient. They are really hoping for a big name signing to strengthen the side. Rumours have it a defensive midfielder or striker could be looked at with the main auction in a couple of weeks.

Meanwhile, it can be confirmed that Julian Draxler is to return to Germany in a deal that will hopefully benefit the German giants with depth.

Harris is looking to sell one remaining squad player before the main auction to carefully balance the books and to raise some extra funds that will hopefully cover the costs of the two youth loans.

Will Harris invest in the academy of stadium? This is a decision that needs to be made as soon as possible.

Fans anxiously await any other dealings and rumours as it appears the squad could be getting left behind their rivals.
