Ayre says no!
News coming out of Blackburn Rovers today is that manager Tony Ayre Met with Dortmund officials over the weekend and there’s declined their interest and and rejected their proposal and has put on extension to his Blackburn Rovers contract.
We are told that Borussia Dortmund We’re offering to double Ayre’s Current rage as well as handing a lucrative transfer kitty however the proposals of having to work with the managing director and not give him full control of the club with some of the turning points that turned Ayre away.
We have tried to reach out to Dortmund for comment however they are declining to meet with us at this current time.
Ayre had this to say
“ I didn’t want to go to Dortmund. I met with them out of politeness. The club had accepted an offer from Dortmund that was too good to refuse and before turning them down I have spoken with my chairman and we have both agreed to stay here. I am happy and happy with our progress and we are both working towards the same project and hoping to move the club forward into the Champions League next season. I have control and power to change the team and I want to play here and that was one of the biggest factors in me to stay here at the club
I am Looking forward to next season And cannot wait to get started again in January but I can reassure the fans that I am 100% committed to the club and we are working on ways to improve our team on the pitch ready for next season. I have to return to my holiday with my family, thank you.
