    Bristol City 1-1 MANCHESTER UNITED

Not good enough, we had the chances but gifted an equaliser, and end up 2 points dropped on this one. There's not much we can say but losing 2 players to silly red cards made the game more difficult as time went on. It's a big detriment to our season and we can't sat much more. We have to keep going but with 5 points to claw back it's a taller order again especially with games running out.

      Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 Crystal Palace

Given our antics in the reverse fixture where we scored two goals in the 86th with ten men to steal a point, I knew that getting the rub of the green in this game too was going to be unlikely. We set up how we'd hoped things would pan out, but where teams seem to skin us alive when we deploy an A, Tottenham's pummelled through our C with two quickfire goals. C v C killed the game to a degree, but we got a goal back immediately after switching to A, and then it was a case of whether we could find another. We couldn't though, and that's three defeats on the bounce that has really pierced any momentum we had after climbing into 7th. It's also looking increasingly unlikely that we will finish above Liverpool and Spurs to have a chance of loaning Z_Debast next season.

Exciting times with the DPT semi final first leg on Wednesday to distract us from the woeful league form of late, but then it's back to reality against red hot Aston Villa on Friday.

Well played Tim, best of luck for the rest of the season.

        Chelsea 6 - 1 Burnley

The Clarets can be tricky opponents so we're happy to have secure the three points for a tough game on paper. The Spice Boys threw out a tricky E to keep everyone guessing from the start and countered the away side. Two goals from Bobby Firminio and Leao apiece, with a goal each from Lamptey and Sanches was pleasing but I am disapointed to conceed a 91st minute consolation goal from Burnley. Clean sheets are important and we must not switch off even if the game is done and dusted and the lads have been warned that there are 96 minutes usually in a game and not just 90 minutes that they have to defend for.

          Southampton 3 Liverpool 1

I wouldn't do anything different to this if we played the game another 100 times - and I have absolutely no doubt that we'd win the vast majority.

Unfortunately for us it's just another case of the game engine rewarding the poorer of the two teams on the day - welcome to FFO 2025.

Anyway no point saying any more really - nothing at all against Jamie he's a good bloke from my dealings with him and he's built a very nice team who are going well but there's no way he deserved anything in this one far less the 3 points.

Or looking at the season as a whole maybe it's just the Hamza curse coming back to haunt the Reds
