    Chelsea 1-1 MANCHESTER UNITED

    I thought we may have done enough to win this one but alas we have to settle for a draw, but given the fact we came into the tie with 2 players missing, it makes it a little better. We generally had Chelsea at arms length and had a goal ruled out but they scored just before half time. We kept our cool and the later tactical changes where we let the shackles off got us the later equalizer not long after Chelsea went down to 10 men. It changes nothing at the top of the table but we're content enough where we are at half way but we know as we enter part II of the season, we have to do that little bit more at times.

      Cardiff City 0 Liverpool 2

      Expected the old counter attacking approach from Cardiff so set up 42031E which hasn't been too bad an option for us against the more defensive C's. Certainly more reliable than persisting with passing which we were doing on a pretty regular basis. Our young defensive midfielder Halifa shot us ahead just before half time and Mudryk continued his good recent form by netting our 2nd. It wasn't a dominant performance by any means but I think we just about deserved it.

      A win which sees us climb the table a bit and it's so tight that another couple of wins could really see us shoot up into the Champions League spots - although conversely a couple of poor results will see us slip right back down.

      We've got to be better in the 2nd half of the season and start scoring more goals. Hopefully making de Tomas captain will help in that regard.

        Chelsea 1 - 1 Manchester United

        Debutant Renato Sanches stole the headlines in dramatic fashion, almost poetically - after his controversial transfer was reluctantly approved by HQ. Chelsea took the lead in the first half through yet another Ben Chilwell goal, but Sanches second half red card halted the Blues momentum and handed Manchester United a lifeline. The dismissal skewed the game’s stats, and the visitors capitalised, with Karim Adeyemi netting the equaliser in the 79th minute. A tense, tactical battle ensued as it did throughout, but neither side could find a winner.

        A draw was a fair outcome, and the point secured Chelsea the Mid Season Prem Cup. However, the real challenge lies ahead. Both Manchester clubs boast stronger squads on paper, and the Spice Boys will have to face away trips to both in the second half of the campaign, which could prove most tricky.

          Premiership Round Nineteen - Arsenal 1 - 0 Leicester City

          After five straight draws, Arsenal finally saw a win with a one nil win at home to Leicester City thanks to another goal from Giminez who really is starting to find some form since his move from Juventus earlier in the season. A slightly better performance by the home side yet far from what fans will be expecting but none the less, a win and a clean sheet will be just the ticket ahead of their final Champions League group game in which they need to win.

          The Arsenal boss spoke after the game ;

          " Its started to reach the point where we wonder what we have to do to get a win after five draws but today was a result we really needed as we reach the halfway point of the season. The performance was a lot better but still far from what we can do but I think its best we just appreciate the win and another goal from Giminez who is having a great season for us now.

          We sit in fourth place but have lost so much ground on the sides occupying the top spots after the run of draws so we will be looking to try and claw our way back and close the gap as soon as possible ".
