    MANCHESTER UNITED 4-0 Aston Villa

    We showed what we're capable of here against a very capable team. We did acknowledge they was missing bodies but with us still missing Adeyemi we wanted to try and kill possession early on. We got the opener and doubled it before half time. At that point we felt in complete control and simply too strong for Villa on the day. Only Smith the squaddie on target for the recognised attacking players with a goal was a bit of a shock but it kind of answers what I asked for previously, be more clinical and today we was.

    We have two back to back games against Arsenal, two big games in our season where simply put we need to win both.

      Chelsea 1 - 0 Tottenham

      One of them games were both managers obviously scout, and play the scisors, paper, stones routine. Tottenham shifted to an A away from home which normally walks right into our A, but they would predict that perhaps I think they would go C, and therefore would play E. I see their thinking. But we shifted in a different direction and played the Passing style of play, so I was happy to see the P v A initial starting tactics. A tight game ensused in which both teams had a man sent off, and we won with a KDB goal. Despite dominating the possession, we only managed 10 shots. Whenever we get a low amount of shots it always feels like a loss, never mind the result.

        West Ham 0 Liverpool 0

        Groundhog Day once again for us as we have umpteen more shots on target than the opposition (9 to their 3) but yet again we can't hit the back of the net for love nor money and therefore here we are again failing to win. Quite incredible how feeble we are in front of goal given the chances we generally create. I'm usually too cowardly to play A but that day is surely rapidly approaching as we try to find a solution to this mess.

        All about the cups already for us which is embarrassing this early in the season.

          Crystal Palace 1 - 1 Arsenal

          After some good results of late, a trip from North to South London was next up for Arsenal as they faced off against Crystal Palace who appointed the experienced Rob Brunton to the club just weeks ago. A game that would be one that Arsenal would no doubt be looking at as a must win but a dogged performance by the Eagles kept them at bay,

          Yet again, Arsenal saw themselves fall behind against the run of play and although they did get level, it came from the penalty spot shortly before half time from Gimenez who is really settling into the club well since his arrival from Juventus.

          The Arsenal boss spoke after the game ;

          " Frustrated really as we really wanted to get all three points in this one and comparing the difference in line ups and performance we should have got just that but we really found it hard to get a hold on the game. Pleased to get back into it after going a goal down but we continue to make it hard for ourselves. Really pleased to see Rob back in the game and in the dugout for such a great club and we of course wish him the best of luck at Selhurst Park "
