Napoli 1-4 Real

A good win that was marred by Lobotka getting sent off. It's the second sending off in two games with AGG set about 4/5. It puts us in a difficult position for Wednesday's CL game against PSG but he should be back for the return leg.
Think we may have to turn to the transfer market. Had been hoping we could see the season out with the squad we have but think we might need to bring in some depth.
The positive is we are not far off top spot and PSG are just about in reach.

so Ed’s A tactic is widely known, and it’s upon the teams he plays to counter it, and in this game we managed to work it, albeit some help with a red card, however we still had a job to do,

raspadori is currently top gun in the efl, and taken the team from relegation zone to CL places. Season is not an easy one so got to knuckle down and keep pushing.

title is defo a no go idea but as high as possible in the league.

Monaco 1-2 Fiorentina

Given our recent form I went into this one with some fear, but we just about did enough in the end to pick up the points.
We started cautiously, and it was Monaco that scored first, and triggered some changes. Mbappe settled the nerves a little before half time with a well taken goal, and we got the luck of a penalty decision in the second half, which Berardi tucked away. We created a decent number of chances, but couldn't put any others way, for a deserved win in the end. Ul dude.
Goretzka had a great game in the middle, but we had a late downside with a 2 week injury to Locatelli that keeps him out of a couple of big games.

Atletico Madrid 2 - 2 Marseille

The manager will once again scratch his head at how his side did not win this game. A shot count of 25-10 with better goalkeeping and shooting skills should only end up in a heavy home win but this is Atletico. Another disappointment to shelve with the others.

Manager Simon Marsh commented "I just despair. We knew we would probably lose the tactical advantage but felt our team was strong enough with home advantage to dominate the game. I would have expected a 3-4 goal win from the statistics and here we are with another 2 point dropped. The league campaign has been incredibly poor for us and we struggle to finish top-8 unless we can catch a few breaks. Its gotten low when the most wholesome part of managing the team is seeing players closing in on their retaining minutes".

Champions league football next up with a trip to Liverpool. Thankfully no bookings to the stack of players on 8 points means a full strength squad will travel".
