so here Roma are, edging up slowly, raspadori again.
it was a bit of a slog, plenty of shots on target, but only 1 goal scored, but a clean sheet.
we move on.

Real Sociedad 2-0 Fiorentina
Well, that was shite. The writing was on the wall with some poor performances of late, and we deserved to lose this one.
Sociedad scored the early goal, which led to some tactical changes, and even when they got a red card they still scored another.
Fair play to the agressive home approach, it worked. The main difference in terms of the stats was Sociedad were more accurate with their shooting. gg dude.
We have Mbappe and Goretzka coming in, so fingers crossed that brings the form back, however it's only PSG next..
The sensible approach would be to play C next, but our worst performances have come when starting C, so maybe we need to be brave.Comment

Monaco 1 - 7 Atletico Madrid
A win at Monaco was crucial in gaining immediate places in the league table. Monaco have had a good season to date but would go into this game missing 2 key players and with only 11 EFL quality players it would enforce one youngster and one squaddie onto the field. Atletico would be missing their 27-rated keeper Martinez.
A shot count of 13-26 showed Atleticos dominance although the final score was flattering as the away side for once started to put the ball in the back of the net.
Manager Simon Marsh commented "I think I would be right in saying that this was the first time this season we have faced a team with injuries or suspensions. It certainly feels that way. Whilst you want to win games against teams at full strength where we are right now we need some breaks and we took real advantage. We would prefer to take four of those goals and spread them over earlier games because 1-7 is still only three points and that sort of finishing in other games would have seen us very close to the top of the league.
Three wins on the bounce have improved the league position but there is still a lot of work to be done and entertaining an Inter side wont be easy.Comment
