    Atletico 2-1 Madrid

The fans will be calling for the managers head at this rate! After our mini revival this defeat could be pretty costly. We are struggling to hit form and it isn't good enough as Real, we need to do better.
    Played to Simon, deserved win.

      Juventus 2-2 Fiorentina

Phew, we came away with a point from one of the better teams in the division, though I'm not quite sure how.
We were up against home and tactical advantage but still took the lead twice, through Spinazzola and Chuk, before they hit back twice, and even had time to miss a penalty.
I feared the worst when Locatelli got a second half red card, and it was only the heroics of our keeper that kept it 2-2, ul Tony.
Cancelo had a good game at the back, as did Chuk in midfield, but it was our keeper that stood out.

So we drop off the top spot, but I'm happy with how our 3 matches against teams around us went, with a win and two draws. It eases off in terms of difficulty next week, before some more tough ones await.

Atletico Madrid 2 Real Madrid 1

A tightish game with Atletico sneaking the shot count 10-8, just enough to edge out Real and win the spanish derby. Y_Pino (45,67) was the hero of the day with Rodrygo replying late on for Real.

Manager Simon Marsh commented "That could be a massive three points this season. It keeps us in touch when this was a game that would have put us in real danger of been too far behind to make an impact. If we can go on a small mini-run we can get ourselves back in the top8 as the first target".

Up next an opportunity to close the gap with an away trip to struggling Napoli.
