    Leverkusen 0-1 Real

Not convincing but a win is a win and that's what we need at the moment. Excellent performance from Rodrygo got us over the line and keeps us in the top 8. We're undefeated in a few matches but need to get some consistent victories to pull ourselves up the table.

      Bayern Munich 2-0 Atletico Madrid

A tough prospect, and we needed to bounce pack positively after giving away so many chances against another Spanish side, Barcelona.

It was a fairly even half despite the home and tactical advantage, with Atletico's squad strength procing very hard to break down (and their five man defence). However, 6 minutes of magic by Gnonto saw him bag two goals before we moved into a more defensive shape to see out the game with a much needed three points.

The stats were fairly even, we edged the on target shots by double, outside of that Atletico can count themselves unlucky not to come away with something here.

      Good game Marshy.

        Bayern Munich 2-0 Atletico Madrid

A decent effort away at a good outfit who have improved on the back of an excellent season last time out. The overall 11-10 shot count on another day may have earned the away side a point but the league season has been nothing but a struggle all season bar the Juve game. This one is disappointing but not unexpected and it the shocking start to season against much weaker sides that sees Atletico struggling outside the top-8.

          Fiorentina 4-0 Marseille

Another great result for the purple ones. We decided to switch things around tactically, though spent the game giving up tactical advantage it didn't seem to matter much.
St Maximin got us off to the perfect start in the 1st minute, and his reward was an instant substitution for a defender!
The other strikers, Berardi and Martinez also got on the scoreboard, and along with an own goal, it looked a good home win, which the stats would also back up.

Things change for the next week or two however, as we face up against some of the best sides in the division, in a better test of our credentials to be up there.
Next up is Real Madrid in the cup away, easy! It is thought the manager is even considering playing all his squaddies to concentrate on the league, but we will see.
