RMA 4-1 Inter
Much, much better. Showed what we're all about against a tricky Inter side who have started the season well. This level of performance is the benchmark now and we need to perform at this sort of level every game.
We went ahead and got it to 2-0 before Inter striked back. We didn't panic though, sorted ourselves out and added a further two. Nice to see Rodrygo get a brace.
With the arrivals of Lobotka and De Jong this weekend we can hopefully push on and make up ground on the league leaders. -
Atletico Madrid 1 - 1 AC Milan
The FFO gods hate Atletico that much is clear. 2 point something seasons of shocking luck continue with a 1-1 draw from a 21-8 shot count playing most of the game with home advantage and tactical advantage and with a goalkeeper crying off after 39 minutes is just another chalk on the wall for this hated club.
Manager Simon Marsh commented "Im fucking clueless as to what else I can do to be honest" and walked off.
He did leave his apologies to Cheyenne for a teamsheet mistake that led to Christante swapping positions for the final third.

Bayern Munich 3-2 Celtic
We scraped the three points in this one. Which keeps us undefeated and somehow top. Granted we've only played two top 10 sides, so we know there is a very long way to go as we are still yet to play the real big boys.
We went behind before Simons pulled one back, and then we grabbed two more through Sesko and then Wharton, but Celtic kept coming and got one goal back and made us sweat to the finish line.
We continue to give some minutes to fringe players,
