    Monaco 0-0 RMA

Again our achilles heel was our finishing. Dominated proceedings but couldn’t score and that meant we only got a point for our efforts. I’m not overly worried at the moment, we’re creating chances and controlling games and if we can start taking our chances we will move up the league. Well played Mike.
Next up we face Inter which will be a big challenge but also an excellent opportunity to up our game and show everyone what we’re hopefully all about.

        Lens 2 - 1 Bayer Leverkusen

Backup keeper Bono managed 6 saves to keep us in the match while the subs secured the points. Was preparing for the worst with an 18 rated keeper. Lens has so many holes to fill that a decent 2nd keeper was not a priority. Fortunately we have got a good one in the academy who is eligible for call up next season.

Scoreless at the half, Leverkusen jumped ahead around the 70 minute mark. Lens brought in 3 subs at 70. Third striker Lasme got the equalizer then in the 89th minute reserve defender Roberts banged in the winner. No one expected the 34 year old be the hero.

Six points in our first two matches. We will take it because the opponents are about to get really diffucult.

          Inter Milan 2-1 Fiorentina

I had a feeling we would lose this one, mainly because of the keeper difference, but it turned out Gnabry was the tosser instead!
It started well enough with the 1st minute goal from Chukwueze, who has been shooting lots but not scoring until now.
It even looked hopeful when they switched to A against our C, but as it turned out Inter took control and were good value for the win. gg dude.
The result drops us off the pace a bit, but these are the kind of games if you're going to drop points is where it should happen.
Hopefully we can back on track against Lisbon on Friday.

            Juventus 5-2 Marseille

what a game, we started very slowly and allowed a commanding lead to the visitors. before they sat back and tried to defend the lead which seemingly turned into our favour as we fired in 4 without reply to take a 4-2 lead at half time and a hat trick from New boy Rashford bagging a hat trick is very good to see also. We dont wanna see those defensive cracks moving forward and it has to be something we address.

unlucky James, good luck for the season

              Roma 2-3 Bayern Munich

A tough ask away to Roma, no matter the manager, their squad is still very talented and slightly stronger than ours. It was a real back and forth with the German side continuing their strong start to the season thanks to goals by: Simons, Gnonto and Sesko.

A brave move to leave new record signing Nico Paz on the bench but he came on and contributed well. We try to give fringe players a few minutes which is going to be a challenge.

Good game Hamza all the best for the season.

                Atletico Madrid 2 - 2 Barcelona

Contrasting line ups with the same tactics would give an interesting game. In the whole Atletico did enough to be victorious with a 26-18 shot count. Atletico led twice through a double from R_Sessegnon (22,40) but despite gaining tacticial advantage after both goals they ever so quickly conceded eqaulisers.Overall it has to be put down as 2 points lost for the home side.

Manager Simon Marsh commented "We are disappointed. Barce are decent but if we have any hope of finishing top-4 results need to be better. We could be sat here on 7-9 points and we have 4. Its rinse-repeat record-player but we just struggle to turn good performances into results. Perhaps we should have changed our line-up when leading and that is one to reflect on".

Next up AC Milan who have opened up with 4 points in low scoring games.
