    Arsenal 1-3 MANCHESTER UNITED

We started slow but reacted even quicker with both sides scoring in 2 minutes. After that until we switched set up Arsenal had the better of the game. We kind of traded blows but knowing we've started this campaign very poorly we then threw caution at the end and not long after went 2-1 up. We tried to shut up shop but found a gap to score a third. This is exactly what we needed given the way the group has gone but we know we've still got huge amounts of work to do and on the day we did just enough to deserve it.

It's a huge result for us for sure, we've got some tough games coming up but alarmingly we've conceded more in Europe than we have the entire league campaign. We need to improve at both ends for sure with 3 games to salvage the season.

Has tactical advantage and is at home... 0-1 in the first minute.

Fuck the CL and the engine.

        Barcelona 1 - 3 Chelsea

The battle of the so called 'pensioners'. Sometimes HA & TA amounts for shit verses a better team. We expected the C from Barca but played to our strengths anyway as we needed a win, with the group situation. Looks like Spurs are high and flying and it could be between Inter and Chelsea for the next spot, but I suppose you still can't count out Barca, albeit unlikely.

          AC Milan 0 Liverpool 1

As bad as our results have been in the league, thankfully - at least so far anyway - that hasn't been the case in the cups and we continued our good start in the Champions League with an away win at the San Siro.

Felt fairly sure we'd be facing the counter attacking tactic and so give the old European style a bash. Having got ourselves ahead in the 1st half we then resorted to a hoof ball approach for the remainder of the game. It wasn't exactly scintillating but any win in this competition is not to be sneezed at especially on the road so we're very pleased with ourselves.

Sitting pretty at the half way stage but still a lot of hard work to be done. Feels like our home game against Milan next up will be absolutely pivotal because after that it's away games against Paris Saint Germain and Man City and I wouldn't anticipate many points coming from those fixtures.

            Atletico Madrid 1 - 0 Juventus

What a crazy season! Just havent been able to get things moving but we seem to somehow triumph over Juventus
Thats 3 wins against them this season and Juventus should have won 2 and drawn 1.

Y_Pino (19) scored the winning game but in truth again Juventus were the better side. Marsh set up his side to play Ayre forgetting that Livi was in charge and that was an error that should have resulted in defeat but Juventus finishing was all over the place allowing Atletico to gain an important three points.

With 3 games gone and 7 points bagged, from 2 away games Atletico are in a strong position. They go again away at Juventus next week but will have home games against Leeds and Southampton to fall back on if they should finally lose to Juventus next

              Bayern 0-0 Real

In the end I think this was a really good result away in Bavaria. Bayern are doing well this season and Ant has made them a very tricky prospect. To take the point and return to Spain having not conceded is a good outcome. We remain top of the group with one home game and two away matches remaining. We're in a great position but it'll still be very tricky.

                Arsenal 1 - 3 Manchester United

Despite taking an early lead in the first minute of the game, it was Manchester United who took all three points ion group game three of the Champions League. Following the defeat in the Premiership against Chelsea, Arsenal would have no doubt been looking to get back to winning ways and repeat the score against United just two games ago when they won but United proved to be too strong for an Arsenal side who suffer back to back defeats.

                The Arsenal boss spoke after the game ;

" A repeat of the league fixture a few days ago would have been very nice especially being at home again but it wasn't to be. I don't think we can have too many arguments either, we tried and did cause problems but sometimes you just have to admit that we wasn't at the races and today we certainly wasn't. Its about the reaction now and two defeats on the bounce means we cant let that affect us and with league action just around the corner, we need to ensure we bounce back from this ".
