      Crystal Palace 3-1 Union Berlin

With no disrespect meant to the competition, Premiership survival is the main goal for Palace this season. However we are now the only side in the DPT left with a 100% record (although one was against a T sheet).

We had four first teamers sat on the bench for this one, but Anton exchanged his crunching tackles for goals, scoring two in the first half. Berlin halved the arrears, but our young defender Grimi restored the two goal cushion. Would be lovely if we could look this good in the league!

Hard luck Andy - probably unfortunate that all 8 of our shots went on target. Nice to move our Rougemont/Stourton rivalry across to another platform!

        Cardiff 2-2 Fiorentina

Decent point away, though we did throw away a two goal lead, but based on the stats Cardiff deserved something from the game.
We continued with a fairly adventurous line up, and despite the counter went ahead, and even missed a penalty before half time, with Martinez and Berardi the scorers.
We took the opportunity to bring on a couple of players needing minutes, and that combined with Cardiff switching to attacking seemed to open the door for them to get back into the game.
In the end we had to thank Marmardvili for some decent saves or it could have been worse. Unlucky dude
We might need to rethink things tactically, or in terms of holding onto a lead.

4 points from two games isn't too bad though, so happy enough with how it's going in Europe.

Back to league action next, hosting a match against Leverkusen, who have a couple of our old defenders out to stop us.
