Borussia Dortmund 0-5 SHAKHTAR DONETSK

We silenced the yellow wall in commanding style. The majority of our shots on target, we got minutes into the squad players that need them and to score 5 goals which is almost unheard of for us! The calibre of teams is unmeasurable and the result is one of our best results for sure. We got a huge chunk of ABS, got into a positive goal difference, theres no fault on the day, everything went for us.

At the midway point we're 4th, and again, we know we're punching above our weight but it's pleasing to see the club get some of its just deserts. We expect a very tough second half of the season, no question about it but we'll enjoy the ride and if we can repeat last season, it'll be another fantastic season.

Rennes 2-3 Wolfsburg

We started off strongly against Rennes, picking up a 2 goal lead and cruising, but a change of tactic saw Rennes quickly recover and equalise, going on to dominate the game and look favourites to win.

however, a late goal saw Wolfsburg win in a smash and grab game and keep them above shakhtar on goal difference
