Not sure we could have done much more, 17 saves out of Restes. Benfica are creeping away at the top and we need to start finding our shooting boots.

Start of the season Lazio were the favourites and any point would have been good.

SHAKHTAR DONETSK 1-0 Schalke

Tough win, but pleasing we managed to overcome a resilient team on the day. We have to be honest, it was an even game where we did concede chances with our 'keeper having one of his better games if not best this season. Our talisman Sudokov got the decisive winner and with just 1 league and 1 European game this first half of the season left, we're in a fantastic league position and as a squad we're in great shape with regards to minutes, only 5 players needing to meet some minutes. (One will be slightly problematic once rating up but not enough we need to worry). It's a pleasing one to know we can take some more risks at times maybe be a little more adventurous now we have a couple more attacking options.

Big three points once again, and pleasing to be up with the top lot.
