Atalanta 2-1 Wolfsburg

This was a savage game, 1 way traffic all the way, outplayed and outmanaged. Plus the sending off at 2-1 down put the icing on the cake. It’s a miracle we didn’t come out with at least 5 goals against us.

SHAKHTAR DONETSK 2-1 Lyon

We thought we'd blown it, given the fact we played the better on the day but a late goal from Sorensen got us the deserved 3 points right at the death. The game got the goals in the second half and maybe the tactical tweaks we made benefitted us after going a goal down. We've got 2 games left until the midway point and if we can stay in the top 6 then that'll be a great mini achievement for this club. We have two tough games in my eyes to contend with but first we have to battle Brentford as w try and cling on in Europe.

But today was a good day for us after last weeks blip.
