FC Porto 2-0 SHAKHTAR DONETSK

Well our little run comes crashing down, but we missed a key defender and we opted to box off Cauz minutes. We got a bit over ran by a counter attacking approach and then we lost another player to an injury so it turned out to be a game where the squaddies got a chunk towards their minutes in some aspects, we didn't deserve much and to be honest it is a reality check. We have done better, and can do better but some teams just had that little bit more in key areas than we do, we keep fighting with what we have and we have Joelinton coming in this week to add to the midfield options to hopefully add a bit more in the middle of the park.

Wolfsburg 4-1 Real Betis

We dominated Betis from start to finish, 62% possession and 21 shots was converted into 4 goals.

Betis picked up a late red card which didn’t help their cause but it was already game over by that point. Benfica drop points at the top meaning we are back within 3 points following our poor run of form. Looking good as we close in on the half way stage, Vinicius leading the line.
