Feyenoord 4-0 SHAKHTAR DONETSK

We knew it'd be a tough game and with Europe on the horizon, we chose to save Pisano and give a squaddie some minutes and it did prove to be the wrong move. Feyenoord, like most, and yes we'll keep highlighting it, are a better squad than us and the had a field day on the scoreline. We gave the tie a go but once we openned up late on, 2 goals down we just gave them the run of the pitch. It's our worst display of the season on paper but we'll just write it off and move on. We are assessing the market but with the resources we have it'll be difficult to get the desired changes.

We will have to weigh everything up long term but it's clear the team isn't good enough to try and make suitable tweaks. Where to start who knows but we begin what should be a positive European adventure this week, but on current form it could get very disaterous.

Rennes 2-0 Lazio

This was easily our best performance of the season so far, and the most pleasing result.
The game was fairly even but we had more shots on target, made their keeper work and that brought the result.
Lazio are a high quality side so we can only be delighted to claim a deserved victory and send the fans home happy.
